Bio
I am an Artist and Youth Worker, who lives in the city of Hull (UK) with
a film addict husband and a sleepy black cat .
My paintings and illustrations are a representation of my life-long love
for cats. Cats have been a big part of my life, firstly there was Sammy
the Siamese who had big dazzling blue eyes, then there was Fluffy the
Tabby who just loved to be loved, then Neo my current cat who just loves
to sleep and eat! Every cat like human has its own story to tell,
including some violin moments and some magical moments and that's why I
like to draw them.
I use a range of tools to produce my visual artwork, these include
graphite, ink, digital, watercolour, acrylic and oil pastel. I am also
attracted to intricate patterns, vibrant colours, humorous stories and
Japanese art.
From time to time I also like to produce some 3D piece's. These include
paper mache cats and retro fabric cat plushies.
